Julia Rosenbaum

Based in Brooklyn, Julia Rosenbaum is a multimedia artist whose work explores the surreal intersections of urban life and the subconscious. Through a blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary surrealism, she creates pieces that invite viewers to consider the ways individual perception can reshape reality—particularly in those moments when the ordinary begins to feel uncanny. Rosenbaum's work considers what it means to navigate the city as a young person: deciphering ambiguous situations, imagining how they might become stranger, and finding beauty in the overwhelming swarm of color, movement, and human activity that surrounds us.
